How K.ai works for you
Short answers to the questions that matter. Anything else — the email at the bottom reaches a person.
Getting started
K.ai gives you an anonymous account: a random key on your device, nothing about you. Open the app and ask anything, by text or voice. Your $5 welcome credit is applied automatically the first time you launch on iPhone.
Credits & pricing
- Every answer shows exactly what it cost, right beneath it. Usually about a penny.
- Your balance lives in the pill at the top of the home screen; tap it to top up.
- Credit purchases are never a subscription.
Voice conversations
- Tap the wave button and just talk. K.ai answers when you pause.
- Tap the wave to interrupt an answer.
- The globe icon turns on live interpreter mode between any two languages you pick.
Your history
Conversations are stored only on your device and wash away 7 days after your last activity in them, or immediately if you delete them. There is nothing to recover from us: we never had it. See how privacy works.
Account key
In Settings you can generate an account key: the only way to carry your balance to a new phone, the Mac, or the web. Write it down. We cannot recover a lost key, because we don't know it.
